Responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, semantic models, and data visualizations supporting enterprise decision-makingMigrate and improve existing dashboards, including embedding within Deltek VantagepointDevelop DAX measures, data models, drill paths, and reporting logic for accurate, scalable analysisTroubleshoot and resolve performance, modeling, and calculation issues across environmentsOwn the Power BI tenant end-to-end — workspace governance, security, deployment pipelines, and platform configurationImplement Row-Level Security (RLS), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration, and data access controlsConfigure and maintain On-Premises Data GatewaysBuild toward a self-service BI model with training materials and governance frameworks that reduce one-off requestsSupport SQL Server environments including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuningWrite and optimize advanced SQL — CTEs, complex joins, and performance analysisFull DBA scope (backups, HA/DR, replication) to be confirmed during hiring processBuild automated workflows using Power Automate and Microsoft Power PlatformDevelop PowerShell scripts and API-based automation to reduce manual administrationMentor junior BI team members on DAX, data modeling, dashboard development, and best practicesEstablish and enforce team standards for development, documentation, and delivery qualityPlease note that this job posting does not list all duties and responsibilities that are required of this job.
