The role focuses on developing Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs, integrating generative AI and machine learning models, implementing RAG and agentic workflows, managing relational and vector databases, and providing technical leadership. Responsibilities Backend Development: Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliabilityAI/LLM Integration: Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and ML models into existing enterprise systems using Java-native AI frameworks (e.g., Spring AI, LangChain4j)Agentic Workflows & Data: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI patterns, autonomously connecting AI systems with internal enterprise data and external APIsDatabase & Storage: Architect and manage optimal data solutions across relational (SQL) databases and vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Pinecone, Elasticsearch) to support AI memory and contextArchitecture & Leadership: Participate in architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and enforce clean code standardsAI-Augmented Workflows: Utilize modern AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance coding efficiency, testing, and documentation Skills 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend developmentDeep expertise in Core Java, Java 17+, and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security)Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production applicationsAdvanced knowledge of writing SQL queries, performance tuning, and working with NoSQL or Vector databasesSolid understanding of microservices architecture, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)Familiarity with Spring AI , LangChain4j , or AI platform APIs is strongly preferred Benefits Remote work arrangement Company Overview Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC (VITS) has been founded on the principle of partnering with our clients - to provide a smarter way of working.
