The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Remediation & Takedown Analyst to join our threat intelligence team in the Philippines. In this role, you will investigate and mitigate online threats - including phishing websites, fraudulent domains, and social media impersonations - while working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to protect organizations from evolving cyber threats.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about information security who wants to build hands-on experience in threat intelligence, digital investigations, and online threat remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze phishing websites, social media impersonations, threat actors, attack tools, and techniques
- Mitigate malicious online content, such as phishing sites and fraudulent domains, in line with company policies and legal standards
- Monitor and respond to remediation events using Argos' Remediation Module, tracking cases closely from initiation through resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather intelligence and coordinate timely responses to cyber threats
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and provide proactive recommendations to strengthen defenses
- Identify and develop data sources including the darknet and social media to collect relevant intelligence, while maintaining online avatars for research purposes
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners to enable effective collaboration on threat mitigation efforts
What We're Looking For
- Around 2 years of experience in intelligence analysis processes, including OSINT and WEBINT gathering (military/defense experience included), link analysis, or threat actor profiling or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Working understanding of internet domain fundamentals, including domain registration, DNS, and web hosting
- Fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written
- A genuine passion for information security and a commitment to service excellence
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to cybercrime
- Information security certifications
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles
