R&D Design Engineer (Medical Devices Manufacturing) / East

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a R&D Design Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and improve products based on project requirements. Support product development from concept, prototyping, testing, through to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering projects. Conduct prototype evaluation, testing, and design verification activities. Perform engineering analysis and recommend design improvements for quality and manufacturability. Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical support during product development. Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and customer requirements. Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Participate in continuous improvement and engineering enhancement initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Min Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline. Min 2 years of experience in product design, product development, R&D, or engineering design within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent. Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical standards, and product documentation. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
