Job Description – Production Supervisor / Junior Production Manager Location: Sanaswadi Company Type: Japanese Manufacturing Company Products: Copper & Aluminium Tubing, Capillary Tubes, and AC/Refrigerator Suction Pipe Assemblies ⸻ Position Production Supervisor / Junior Production Manager Department Production Reporting To Production Manager / Plant Manager Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and cost. The role involves managing multiple production lines for copper/aluminum tubing, capillary tubes, and suction pipe assembly used in air conditioners and refrigerators, ensuring compliance with manufacturing practices such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Line Management Execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.Ensure production targets are achieved on time.Allocate manpower according to production requirements.Balance workloads across production lines.Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and machine utilization.Minimize production downtime and bottlenecks.Coordinate with Production Planning (PPC) to meet customer schedules. ⸻ Assembly Line Management (Suction Pipe Assembly)) Supervise tube cutting, bending, brazing, and assembly operations.Monitor brazing quality and leak testing processes.Ensure dimensional accuracy of assembled parts.Verify fitment according to engineering drawings.Improve line balance and reduce assembly cycle time. ⸻ Required Skills Strong knowledge of copper and aluminium tube manufacturing.Experience in suction pipe assembly processes.Understanding of tube cutting, bending, brazing, leak testing, and assembly.Knowledge of production planning and line balancing.Ability to read engineering drawings and process documents.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, OEE, and Poka-Yoke.Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ⸻ Qualification Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. ⸻ Experience Production Supervisor: 3 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, tubing, or automotive component manufacturing.
