Role Summary:
We are looking for a Product Trainer who can translate complex product features into simple,
meaningful learning experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams. This role requires
strong collaboration with product and technical teams, a deep curiosity to understand how the
product works, and the ability to deliver high-quality training both online and in person.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Content & Knowledge Gathering
- Collaborate with product managers and technical experts to understand new features, enhancements, and use cases.
- Stay updated with ongoing product development and builds a solid understanding of workflows and customer scenarios.
- Gather contextual insights on how, why, and when users interact with specific product features.
- Explore product features hands-on to understand their value, functionality, and user impact.
Training Content & Enablement
- Convert complex product concepts into clear, easy-to-understand learning materials.
- Create or support the development of training documentation, walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer notes.
- Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions to internal teams to ensure consistent understanding across Sales, CS, Support, and Product teams.
- Configure and manage trial/demo environments for training and testing purposes.
Training Delivery
- Deliver onboarding and training sessions for customers, partners, and employees—both in- person and virtually.
- Conduct testing on new features and course content and share actionable feedback with the product team.
- Support adoption by ensuring learners understands product capabilities and best practices.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in planning meetings, weekly syncs, and periodic reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to process improvements for training, documentation, and product knowledge flow.
Who Can Apply:
- Working knowledge of US payroll processes, terminology, and payroll workflows is mandatory.
- Candidates must have prior experience with US payroll products or US payroll operations.
- 1+ year of relevant experience in product training, customer enablement, or technical learning roles.
- Experience with SaaS products, CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce experience is a plus but not mandatory).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent grammar and clarity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with researching, simplifying, and explaining technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic project coordination capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); basic understanding of HTML is a plus.
