Job Description

About The Role

The role drives the vision, strategy, and execution of core platform capabilities that enable developers and business stakeholders to build and deploy applications at scale. This position sits at the intersection of engineering and business operations, translating complex technical requirements into a cohesive product roadmap.

The team values deep technical curiosity and analytical rigor. Operating in a remote capacity, the Product Manager will collaborate with distributed engineering, design, and analytics teams to ship high-impact API and platform products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for backend platform services, APIs, and developer workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to manage the technical backlog, prioritize sprints, and resolve technical debt tradeoffs
  • Translate customer insights and system metrics into actionable product specs, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria
  • Establish and track product success metrics, including API latency, developer adoption rates, and system reliability
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for platform expansion and modernization
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch plans with product marketing, customer success, and sales enablement teams

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of product management experience, preferably managing technical products, developer tools, or cloud APIs
  • Proven experience writing detailed technical specifications, documenting API schemas, and working with tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to write SQL queries to analyze product usage and system performance
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS services, microservice architectures, or enterprise-scale SaaS integrations
