Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Nursery Assistant at Learning Nest. The Nursery Assistant supports the delivery of daily childcare routines, including organizing age-appropriate activities, assisting with virtual or home-based learning sessions, and helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for children. Responsibilities include monitoring children’s well-being, following safeguarding guidelines, documenting observations, and communicating clearly with parents, caregivers, and team members. The Nursery Assistant collaborates with educators to implement learning plans, provide feedback on children’s progress, and contribute to creating inclusive and engaging experiences for all children.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills and experience related to nursery settings and early years care (Nursery, Childcare).
• Candidates should demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and adherence to child protection standards (Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding).
• Candidates should have clear and empathetic communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues (Communication).
• Previous experience in early childhood education, nursery, or childcare roles is highly beneficial.
• Relevant certifications or training in childcare, early years education, or safeguarding are preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage schedules, and use digital tools to support learning and communication.
• Patience, reliability, and a commitment to creating inclusive, respectful, and safe spaces for all children.
