NOC Engineer / Network Operations Engineer

Location: Fully RemoteSalary Range: 70-75/hr on w2Note: Shift based roles with current openings on all shifts 1st shift: 6am ET - 3pm ET 2nd shift: 2pm ET - 11pm ET 3rd shift: 10pm ET - 7am ET Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 IntroductionWe are seeking a skilled professional to support a large-scale, global network environment. This role is focused on 24/7 monitoring, incident triage, and ensuring high availability of mission-critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, and the ability to respond quickly to outages and performance issues. Required Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of Cisco networking (routers, BGP, routing fundamentals)Experience with terminal tools such as SecureCRTSolid understanding of network troubleshooting concepts (packet loss, latency, routing issues)Experience with monitoring and analysis tools such as Splunk, Riverbed, and SolarWindsFamiliarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systemsExposure to packet capture/analysis and network performance monitoringBachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent hands-on experienceProven experience in a NOC or network support environmentPrior work experience at client or in client's industryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with network configuration tasks, including DNS updatesAbility to manage and update incident tickets through resolution using ticketing systemsExperience in a structured support environment collaborating with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teamsDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesMonitor network performance, connectivity, system events, and alerts in a 24/7 environmentPerform real-time incident triage, including identifying packet loss, errors, and outage impactInvestigate and respond to network incidents, ensuring timely mitigation and restoration of servicesAnalyze alarms and logs to determine root causes or escalate to appropriate teamsEngage vendors and internal Tier 3/engineering teams for issue resolutionCompany Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefitsOpportunities for professional development and career growthInclusive and collaborative work environmentFor immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
