Mid to Sr Systems Analyst - Agile, Jira, Java/API Dev Support

Systems Analyst Project Overview: Will be supporting an effort for LOLO (Loss of Loved One). Project is around creation of a ‘beneficiary portal’ that will be used to upload, house, and share documents. Development work is related to customers who transition and their accounts are shifted to a beneficiary and assisting with them getting ownership of the funds/account a lot sooner than 30 days-6 months. The end goal is for beneficiaries to be given access to these financial resources a lot sooner during this tragic life event. Role Notes: Strong Systems Analyst needed to work across dev teams and business stakeholders to take the business requirements and translate them into guidance/stories for the developers. MUST be very comfortable and confident working with development (6+ devs, 2 SW QE’s, and an architect) teams as well as a product owner and squad lead. Will also interact with a ‘mirror’ off-shore team in India. Project is at infancy stage and majority of team members and the teams are new. Mid level to Sr SA needed – 3-5 years exp Pref is for an SA that’s come from a dev background Should have a good understanding of the dev life cycle and API/microservices development Java or Java environment experience would be highly preferred Any cloud exp a plus Financial services exp not needed, but a plus Must Have: 3-5 years Systems Analyst exp Strong demonstrated exp working with developers and dev teams Previous background as a developer strongly preferred Agile – any flavor, but Scrum preferred Strong Jira experience – will be writing and assigning stories, as well as creating and tracking docs, tracking changes/updates etc Understanding of the full dev life cycle Exp with and/or knowledge of Java or java environments and API/microservices development strongly preferred Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills Excellent analytical & problem solving skills Nice to Have: SQL Financial services Locations: Full remote, but Westlake, Raleigh, BOS, SMT, or MMK drivable is always preferred IV Process: 40 minutes to 1 hour interview--panel style, all Q&A
