Job description

About Better Impact

At Better Impact, we believe technology should make it easier for organizations to do meaningful work. Our software helps nonprofits, hospitals, government agencies, and other organizations manage their volunteer programs, streamline operations, and strengthen community engagement.

Backed by The Brydon Group, Better Impact is growing, and we're looking for thoughtful, collaborative people who are excited to help our members get the most out of the technology they use every day.

About the Role

We're looking for a Member Implementation Advisor to help new members successfully launch and adopt Better Impact software.

In this role, you'll be part trainer, part problem-solver, and part trusted guide. You'll work directly with new members to understand their goals, navigate implementation, and build the skills and confidence they need to use our software effectively.

Successful implementation isn't just about getting software up and running. It's about helping people understand how technology can support their work, identifying practical solutions to their challenges, and creating a positive experience from the very beginning.

You'll receive training on our software, implementation processes, and member experience standards, gradually taking on greater responsibility as you become familiar with our products and approach.

If you enjoy teaching others, solving problems, building relationships, and helping organizations succeed, this could be a great fit.

Location & Working Hours

This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in the United States or Canada.

Candidates must be available to work Pacific or Mountain Time Zone business hours, regardless of their physical location, to support our members effectively.

What You'll Do

Guide Members Through Implementation

  • Work directly with new members to understand their goals, existing processes, and operational needs.
  • Help members develop practical implementation strategies that align with their organization's priorities.
  • Guide members through the implementation process, from initial onboarding through successful software adoption.
  • Identify challenges, recommend solutions, and help members make informed decisions about how to configure and use the software.

Deliver Training and Build Confidence

  • Lead engaging, accessible software training sessions for individuals and groups.
  • Adapt your communication and teaching approach to different audiences, experience levels, and learning styles.
  • Explain software features and workflows in ways that are clear, approachable, and relevant to each member's needs.
  • Help members develop the knowledge and confidence to manage their software independently.

Create a Great Member Experience

  • Build positive, professional relationships with members throughout their implementation journey.
  • Maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure members understand next steps.
  • Introduce members to additional tools, resources, and services that may support their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to resolve challenges and ensure a smooth member experience.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records of implementation activities, member progress, and follow-up needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, training materials, and the overall member experience.
  • Share member feedback and insights with internal teams to support ongoing improvements.

Requirements

We're interested in candidates who bring a combination of technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment, such as implementation, customer success, onboarding, training, or operations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of experience.
  • Ability to assess customer needs, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Comfort learning new software, troubleshooting challenges, and navigating multiple technology platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow-up activities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams.
  • Familiarity with productivity, communication, and customer management tools such as Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Zoom, ClickUp, Intercom, or similar platforms.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing a positive member experience.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience implementing or training others on SaaS products.
  • Experience in volunteer management, nonprofit operations, or other mission-driven environments.
  • Experience developing or improving onboarding processes, training resources, or customer workflows.
  • Familiarity with using data, feedback, or performance metrics to improve customer experiences.

We recognize that great candidates bring a variety of experiences and backgrounds. If you're excited about this role and believe your skills would translate well, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every preferred qualification.

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $58,000–$63,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. For candidates based in Canada, compensation will be provided in Canadian dollars, with details confirmed during the hiring process.

Benefits vary by country of employment.

United States

  • Unlimited paid vacation
  • Health and dental insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan

Canada

  • 20 days of paid time off per calendar year
  • Medical benefits through Sun Life
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) matching program through Canada Life, with employer matching contributions of up to 3% and a two-year vesting period

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for Better Impact. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
