Must be able to:Read a tape measure.Operate a Manual Lathe MachineStand, stoop, and bend repeatedly for an entire shift.Set up and operate manual lathes to turn, bore, thread, and face custom parts according to precise CAD and blueprint documentation, consistently maintaining tolerances within 0.001 inches.Computed dimensions, rotation speeds, and feed rates using shop mathematics, reducing material waste and scrap rates by 15% over two years.Designed and engineered custom fixtures to enhance the precision of process parts and support specialized roll-threading operations.Performed in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure all components complied with strict aerospace quality standards.Responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting manual lathes to fabricate, modify, and finish precision metal components for industrial fan assemblies according to exact technical blueprints and quality standards.
