Manager – Investments, Portfolio & Wealth Management Building long-term wealth relationships for Salasar's HNI and corporate client base LOCATION Kolkata – Dalhousie / BBD Bagh EXPERIENCE 3 – 10 Years FUNCTION Investments & Wealth Advisory EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time, Permanent About Salasar Services Salasar Services (Insurance Brokers) Pvt. Ltd. is a Kolkata-based, IRDAI-regulated insurance broking firm serving corporate and individual clients across India. As the firm deepens its presence in the financial services ecosystem, this role is central to building out advisory capability for clients seeking guidance on investments, portfolio construction, and long-term wealth planning alongside their risk and insurance needs. Role Summary We are looking for a finance professional with strong, hands-on experience in investments, portfolio management, and wealth management to advise a growing base of individual and corporate clients. The ideal candidate combines technical investment knowledge with the relationship skills to manage client portfolios end-to-end — from goal-based financial planning through to ongoing portfolio monitoring and rebalancing. This is a client-facing role based out of our Kolkata office in the Dalhousie / BBD Bagh financial district. Key Responsibilities Portfolio & Wealth Management Design and manage investment portfolios for individual and corporate clients across asset classes — mutual funds, equities, fixed income, PMS/AIF, and insurance-linked investment products. Conduct goal-based financial planning: retirement planning, children's education, tax planning, and wealth preservation strategies tailored to each client's risk profile. Monitor portfolio performance on an ongoing basis, rebalancing allocations in line with market conditions, client life-stage changes, and evolving risk appetite. Prepare and present periodic portfolio review reports, translating market and performance data into clear, actionable guidance for clients. Client Relationship Management Build and deepen relationships with HNI, corporate, and institutional clients, acting as their primary point of contact for investment and wealth matters. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Salasar's broader insurance and financial advisory offerings. Onboard new clients through structured risk-profiling and financial needs analysis. Ensure a high standard of client servicing, responsiveness, and retention. Research, Compliance & Reporting Track market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments (SEBI, IRDAI, RBI) that impact client portfolios and advisory recommendations. Ensure all investment advice and documentation comply with applicable SEBI/IRDAI regulatory and KYC/AML requirements. Maintain accurate client records, transaction documentation, and portfolio reporting in line with internal and regulatory standards. Coordinate with product partners (AMCs, PMS providers, insurers) for product due diligence and client onboarding. Candidate Requirements Experience & Qualifications 3–10 years of experience in investments, portfolio management, or wealth management, with a proven client-servicing track record. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; MBA (Finance) preferred. Demonstrated experience managing individual or corporate client portfolios end-to-end. Preferred Certifications NISM Series V-A CFP CFA (any level) AMFI / ARN Skills & Attributes Strong working knowledge of mutual funds, equities, fixed income, and structured/insurance-linked investment products. Sound understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk-return principles. Excellent client relationship and consultative selling skills; comfortable advising HNI and corporate clients directly. Strong analytical ability with comfort in financial modelling and portfolio reporting tools. High integrity and attention to regulatory/compliance detail. Clear, confident communicator, both written and verbal. Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
