Loss Prevention Manager

ROLE (Why position exists): Will be responsible for minimizing retail losses by monitoring transaction exceptions, controlling inventory shrinkage, strengthening audit controls, and ensuring process compliance across stores. The role focuses on transaction monitoring, reconciliation, fraud detection, inventory control, and loss prevention through SAP and POS analytics.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor negative billing, returns, refunds, voids, discount misuse, and transaction exceptions across storesControl inventory shrinkage, stock variance, and operational lossesPerform reconciliation between POS, SAP, and inventory recordsReview SAP CAR, SAP FI/MM, and Ginesys POS transaction reports for irregularitiesTrack suspicious cashier activities, billing patterns, and store-level exceptionsConduct investigations related to inventory discrepancies and process deviationsEnsure adherence to SOPs, audit requirements, GST controls, and internal policiesSupport store audits, surprise checks, and loss prevention reviewsGenerate MIS, exception reports, and analysis dashboards for management reviewCoordinate with Operations, Finance, Audit, and Store teams for issue closure and corrective actionsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Retail Management, or related discipline.CA Inter preferredRelevant certifications in Audit / Risk Management preferredEXPERIENCE48 years of experience in Loss Prevention, Store Audit, Internal Audit, Inventory Control, or Retail ReconciliationExperience in Fashion Retail, Retail Chains, or FMCG Retail preferredExposure to SAP FI/MM is mandatoryKEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESLoss prevention and inventory controlSAP FI/MM and SAP CAR knowledgePOS monitoring and reconciliationStore audit and investigation skillsStrong analytical ability and exception handlingAdvanced Excel and MIS reportingUnderstanding of retail operations and compliance controls
