Head of Product Management — Taxumo 📍 Taguig, Philippines | Hybrid

Taxumo helps Filipino freelancers, professionals, and self-employed people file and pay their taxes online — without the dread. We're one of Inc. ASEAN's Top 40 Startups and one of e27's Top 100 Startups in Southeast Asia.

We're looking for someone to own our products end to end: from an unvalidated idea, through problem-solution fit and product-market fit, to a live, revenue-generating line you watch and grow. Not a feature factory manager. A business owner who leads through product.

What you'll own

• Customer discovery and validation — define target customers, rank underserved needs, and kill bad ideas early if they don't hold up
• MVP scoping and build, working directly with the Dev team through Agile
• Metrics and instrumentation — acquisition, activation, retention, revenue — iterating until product-market fit is proven, not assumed
• Pricing, positioning, and go-to-market, in partnership with Marketing and Operations
• The product P&L post-launch: revenue, cost, margin, CAC, LTV, churn — and the call on whether to scale, optimize, or sunset
• A product team you build, mentor, and hold to a standard of urgency and ownership

We run on one shared playbook across the team: Dan Olsen's Lean Product Playbook — the Product-Market Fit Pyramid and the six-step Lean Product Process. You'll teach it and enforce it, not just reference it.

What we need

• 8+ years in product management, including 3+ years leading a team
• A track record of taking products from zero to live revenue — ideally with direct P&L ownership, not just roadmap ownership
• Fluency in Lean / Lean Startup methods: customer discovery, MVP testing, Build–Measure–Learn
• Comfortable reading and owning unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, churn, margin)
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery alongside engineering
• Working knowledge of AI tools for product work — this one's non-negotiable
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent founder/operator experience

Who tends to thrive here

Founders or co-founders who've built (or tried to build) their own thing. Early-stage PMs who took a product from zero to one. Product leads who've owned a P&L, not just a backlog. A failed startup isn't a red flag on this team — often it's the strongest line on the résumé, as long as you can speak to what it taught you about customers and money.
