Job description

RTS is an enthusiast culture company that builds at the intersection of gaming, creators, and brands. From global live events to bespoke branded content, we exist to create meaningful connections between fans and the worlds they love. Our team brings deep expertise across partnership sales and marketing, talent management, event production, media, community building, and IP development.

About Evo

For over 20 years, The Evolution Championship Series (Evo), has produced the largest and longest-running fighting game tournament conventions in the world. Our events are rallying points where fans, publishers, developers, and brands celebrate fighting games and the communities that love them. Beyond our established live events, Evo’s mission continues to evolve to create, celebrate, and renew fighting game fandom.

Role Overview

Evo is looking for a talented, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This is a mid-level role for a designer who can translate creative direction into polished, effective visual assets across event collateral, social media assets, broadcast graphics, and marketing collateral.

The ideal candidate has a clean, modern design aesthetic, solid fundamentals in typography and visual communication, and the ability to move confidently between fast-turnaround digital work and print production. You should be comfortable working within established brand systems while also bringing thoughtful creative ideas to the table.

Reporting Structure

You will report to Evo’s Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Evo's creative output by designing assets for a variety of Evo events, initiatives, and projects.
  • Create social media graphics and other digital marketing assets.
  • Design digital maps, schedules, wayfinding materials, and event information graphics.
  • Create web assets across Evo's digital platforms.
  • Develop broadcast graphics for Evo tournaments and events.
  • Design event signage, environmental graphics, and other on-site materials for Evo events.
  • Create YouTube thumbnails for both the Evo FGC and Evo Events channels.
  • Design presentations and decks for internal use, client presentations, and partner-facing materials.
  • Prepare, package, and distribute production-ready files for print vendors and other external partners.
  • Collaborate with creative, sales, comms and marketing teams to execute projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Maintain consistency with Evo's brand standards as well as the visual guidelines of relevant partners and clients.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design or other relevant fields.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Figma
    • Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, and fundamental graphic design principles.
  • Competency in print production, including preparing files for professional printing and understanding production requirements.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating a clean, modern, and thoughtful design aesthetic.
  • Proven ability to package, organize, and distribute files accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to follow, apply, and maintain brand standards and guidelines across Evo, partner, and client work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for craft and execution.
  • Ability to receive creative direction, incorporate feedback, and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Bonus Points

  • Passion for fighting games, esports, gaming and gaming communities.
  • Experience creating motion graphics or animation.
  • Experience with 3D design, rendering, or visualization.
  • Experience with web design and digital product design.
  • Experience with photo editing, compositing, and retouching.
  • Previous experience designing for live events, entertainment, sports, or other high-energy audience-driven environments.

Compensation

The salary for this role is $55,000.00 to $80,000.00 depending on experience.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
  • 401k plan available for employee contributions
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Generous PTO and company-observed holidays
  • Remote-first culture

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for RTS Management, Inc.. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
