Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Engineering team, including the existing North America Sales Engineer and the APAC and EMEA Sales Engineers.
- Own performance management and hiring (when required) for the team, including goal-setting, regular 1:1s, and formal performance reviews.
- Maintain and deliver a consistent global approach to pre-sales methodology, scoping, proposals, and tooling, with clear coverage across time zones.
- Define career pathways for Sales Engineers and build the bench for future growth.
- Own the team's metrics: track, and report on the Sales Engineering coverage model and overall team performance.
- Partner with the senior GTM leadership team to deliver the Sales Engineering strategy and roadmap, including new service-line launches and campaigns.
- Work with Revenue Operations and Finance on pipeline visibility and forecasting.
- Report on team performance, pipeline contribution, and cross-sell progress to senior GTM leadership.
- Manage the team in pre-sales support for cross-sell initiatives, working with Sales and Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities and shape solutions across service lines.
- Partner with service-line leaders (e.g. tax, audit, advisory) and the NAMER Customer Success team to align on co-selling, referrals, and shared pipeline.
- Help ensure all cross-sell and pre-sales activity operates within the firm's independence and professional standards, working with Risk and Quality teams where required.
- Provide direct pre-sales support on key opportunities, including discovery, scoping, solution design, and executive-level client conversations.
- Own the Sales Engineering content library globally, setting standards, priorities and a review cycle so materials stay consistent and current across regions.
- Direct the regional Sales Engineers in content creation, ensuring each region contributes expertise rather than building separate versions.
- Build repeatable cross-sell playbooks, messaging, and enablement materials for Sales and Sales Engineering.
- Partner with Marketing on production and with platform partners (e.g. Vanta, Drata) on approved use of their platforms and branding.
- Work with Sales and Partnership team leaders to strengthen existing partner relationships and develop new ones.
- Provide the technical credibility partners need to position and co-sell our services, including joining joint client conversations and pre-sales engagements.
- Support partner enablement by building materials and running sessions that help partners understand our service lines.
- Guide the regional Sales Engineers on supporting partner-led opportunities, so partner activity follows a consistent global approach.
- Report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline as part of the team's metrics.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a technical or business discipline.
- 6+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales, including 2+ years managing people.
- Experience in a professional services, technology, or technical advisory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead pre-sales for multi-product or multi-service offerings, ideally including cross-sell or expansion motions.
- Proven ability to track, and own team performance metrics.
- Proven ability to coach and develop Sales Engineers across distributed, multi-time-zone teams.
- Strong executive presentation and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tooling (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce proposal tools such as Qwilr, Monday.com).
- Experience in a professional services field outside GRC (e.g. tax, advisory, cybersecurity services, technology consulting, SaaS), bringing breadth to complement the team’s existing expertise.
- Familiarity with compliance and assurance frameworks, or the willingness to learn them quickly.
- Awareness of independence and professional standards in a regulated services environment.
- Prior experience building or scaling a Sales Engineering function.
- Experience working with clients or teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
- A commercially minded leader who turns technical depth into clear client value.
- Builder mindset, comfortable setting up processes, playbooks, and teams from an early stage.
- Accountable and metrics-driven, willing to own the team’s numbers.
- Hands-on and collaborative, willing to roll up sleeves on deals while developing others.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.

Prepare your application
Use the description above to assess your fit for Sensiba LLP. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.
Match requirements to evidence
Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.
Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.
Check the working arrangement
Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.
Review before submitting
Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.
Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.
Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
