Generative AI Consultant with PLM

Job Title: Generative AI Consultant – PLM Domain Location: NYC, NY (Tentative) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Consultant with strong expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to lead AI-driven transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between advanced AI technologies and PLM processes, helping organizations innovate, optimize, and future-proof their product development cycles. Key Responsibilities Analyze current PLM workflows and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.Design and implement Gen-AI solutions to automate and enhance PLM functions (e.g., product design, BOM management, change control).Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, PLM engineers, and business stakeholders.Develop custom Gen-AI models or integrate existing tools (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LLMs) into PLM environments.Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and scale successful prototypes.Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.Provide technical training and documentation for internal teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).2+ years of experience working with Generative AI/LLM technologies.Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.Experience with AI/ML frameworks and APIs (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API).Solid understanding of digital threads, digital twins, and product data management.
