Job Overview
C&W Fencing is seeking a receptionist + office assistant.
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers and visitors and plays a key role in supporting daily office operations for the fencing company. This position requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills while assisting with scheduling, administrative tasks, and coordination between customers, sales staff, and field crews.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and schedule the appointment from the call or give messages to upper management.Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.Schedule appointments, estimates, and meetings for sales staff and management.Respond to customer inquiries regarding services, scheduling, and general company information.Maintain accurate customer records, contact information, and job files.Assist with preparing office documents.Coordinate communication between customers, office staff, foremen, and field crews.Receive and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and office correspondence.Manage office calendars, appointments, and daily schedules.Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and organization of company records.Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering materials and administrative supplies as needed.Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.Handle basic customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.Support office operations with various administrative and clerical duties.Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, vendors, and management at all times.Assist with social media updates, email communication, or marketing support when requested.Perform additional office-related duties as assigned by management.Qualifications
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skillsGeneral computer literacyPrevious office experience involving front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and customer support recommendedExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on client communication and professional phone reception techniquesAbility to type accurately at a good speed while maintaining attention to detail for proofreading tasksExperience with calendar management, filing systems, and basic office software is desirableThis role is essential in creating a positive first impression for visitors and potential customers while supporting daily office functions and assisting management where needed.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
