Overview
We’re hiring a Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy dermatology office in Buford, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, retail, or medical office experience who enjoys working with people and keeping things organized in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Fridays: 8 AM - 4 PM)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, and flow of the waiting room
Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and assist with patient inquiries
Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
Enter and update patient demographics, insurance, and chart information accurately in the system
Verify patient information, required forms, and signatures prior to visits
Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
Assist with basic billing and insurance questions
Track patient flow and communicate delays or updates as needed
Maintain organized and accurate patient charts and documentation
Process incoming faxes, reports, and interoffice communication
Support inventory tracking and supply ordering as needed
Complete end-of-day tasks including balancing payments and running reports
Assist clinical and administrative staff as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
1-3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, medical office, or customer service role (preferred)
Experience with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, or phones is a plus
Previous experience in a medical office or dermatology setting is helpful but not required

Comfortable handling phones, scheduling, and patient interactions
High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and documentation
Team-oriented with a willingness to support both front desk and clinical staff
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing, bending, and reaching
Manual dexterity to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment
Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
