Paid Bi-weekly Schedule-Full-time-Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities and occasional Saturdays Immediate Start Available Benefits · Comprehensive Health & Dental Benefits after successful completion of 6-month probation · Steady, year-round employment · Clean, modern warehouse environment with well-maintained equipment · Supportive management and team-oriented culture Position Overview Blue Dog 3PL & Warehousing Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our growing distribution team in Caledon. This role requires an individual who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse operations beyond forklift driving. The successful candidate will play a key role in inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, stock replenishment, and customer satisfaction while working closely with multiple departments to ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities · Forklift Operation · Safely operate Raymond Reach, Crown Reach, and Electric Counterbalance forklifts · Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers efficiently and safely · Transport products throughout the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy · Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment issues Warehouse Operations · Perform stock put-away and location transfers · Replenish picking locations as required · Accurately pick and stage customer orders · Support receiving and shipping activities · Verify inbound shipments against packing slips and purchase orders · Prepare and verify outbound shipments prior to loading Inventory Control · Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to process inventory transactions · Maintain accurate inventory records and product locations · Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits · Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies · Ensure proper product identification, labeling, and storage practices Shipping & Receiving · Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately · Review and process Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping paperwork · Verify shipment quantities, product condition, and documentation accuracy · Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations Team Collaboration · Work closely with Operations, Inventory Control, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure order and inventory accuracy · Communicate issues, discrepancies, and operational concerns promptly · Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements Safety & Compliance · Follow all company policies and Ontario Health & Safety regulations · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment · Use fall arrest equipment when required · Work safely at heights up to 30 feet Qualifications & Requirements · Valid Forklift Certification · Minimum 2 years of experience operating: · Raymond Reach · Crown Reach · Electric Counterbalance forklifts · Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) · Experience working with Bills of Lading, shipping, and receiving documentation · Experience with inventory control, stock replenishment, and cycle counts · Fall Arrest Certification or proven experience using fall arrest equipment · Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet · Ability to lift to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis · Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy · Reliable transportation and attendance · Clean criminal background check Preferred · Previous experience in a 3PL or distribution warehouse environment · Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume operation · Knowledge of inventory management best practices What We Offer · Immediate full-time employment · Consistent year-round work with no seasonal slowdowns · opportunities for advancement and career growth · Modern warehouse facility and equipment · Comprehensive health and dental benefits · Positive team environment with hands-on management support Apply Today Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
