Director, Software Engineering – Code Data

Job Description: Report to the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering Lead the technology organization for GHX’s Content Engineering portfolio Lead geo-distributed engineering organizations delivering solutions for Content Workbench, Price Workbench, and Contract Management services Set strategic direction, plan, and execute roadmaps for Content Engineering leaders and teams Apply software engineering, data products, AI in SDLC, and system architecture expertise Lead and mentor distributed leaders and build high-performance cross-geography organizations Develop relationships across all organizational levels as a trusted leader Drive strategy development, project management, analysis, problem solving, communication, consensus building, and people development Understand financial impacts, manage technology budget decisions, and forecast future technology practicesRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a relevant area 15+ years of Software Engineering experience in a SaaS environment 7+ years' experience in an Engineering Leadership role Experience managing large teams (40+ people) and scaling a business appropriately based on available resources Technical strength in cloud architectures, application architecture, engineering processes and SDLC Experience with offshore development Experience building and leading geo distributed teams to deliver critical roadmap items Experience leading and mentoring leaders and managers to build high performance organizations Deep domain experience in Data, SaaS and System Architecture Deep experience in building mission critical SaaS/Cloud based services Strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience working with cross functional partners and executives Experience with high availability architecture and design for mission critical applications Experience building CI/CD pipelines with security scans, code quality scans, unit testing, and automated testing Experience with cloud-based SaaS services, API and UI frameworks, and microservice architectures Hands-on experience with GenAI and Agentic Frameworks Preferably experience in the Supply Chain domainBenefits: Bonus Equal employment opportunity protections Educational assistance Retirement benefits Social and recreational programs
