Job Description

About Lumora Analytics

Lumora Analytics helps pharmaceutical organisations modernise the way they work through enterprise data platforms, business intelligence and intelligent automation.

We design and build scalable automated data solutions that replace manual reporting with decision-ready systems, enabling commercial teams to spend less time searching for information and more time making better decisions.

We’re a growing consultancy with ambitious plans, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of pharmaceutical data and analytics.

The Role

This isn’t a traditional Data Engineer role.

You’ll be solving real commercial problems for pharmaceutical organisations by designing and building modern data platforms, developing reporting solutions and helping organisations transform how they use data.

One day you might be integrating multiple commercial datasets into a central data warehouse.

The next you could be building automated reporting pipelines, optimising Power BI semantic models or experimenting with the latest technologies to improve how organisations make decisions.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Designing and developing enterprise data platforms and data warehouses
  • Building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sources.
  • Developing Power BI semantic models and reporting solutions
  • Automating manual reporting and business processes.
  • Integrating APIs, cloud platforms and third-party data sources.
  • Optimising data models for performance, scalability and usability.
  • Supporting the delivery of analytics solutions for pharmaceutical commercial teams.
  • Exploring new technologies and identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.

You’ll probably be a great fit if you:

  • Love solving complex problems.
  • Build projects because you’re curious, not because someone asked you to.
  • Take ownership and enjoy figuring things out.
  • Are constantly learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Can communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Care about producing work you’re genuinely proud of.

Most importantly…

We want to see what you’ve built.

Whether it’s a personal project, freelance work, open-source contribution or commercial implementation, we’d much rather see real examples than read another list of qualifications.

Technical Experience

Experience with some of the following would be beneficial:

* SQL

* Power BI

* Power Automate

* Data warehousing

* ETL / ELT development

* Azure Data Factory

* Microsoft Fabric

* Databricks

* Azure SQL

* Data modelling

* Cloud platforms

Don’t worry if you don’t have experience with everything on this list.

If you’re capable of learning quickly and solving problems, we’d still love to hear from you.

Salary range £40,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience.

Why Join Lumora?

You’ll be joining at the beginning of an exciting journey.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we build our products, shape our technical standards and work directly with pharmaceutical organisations on meaningful projects.

No bureaucracy.

No unnecessary layers.

Just interesting problems, modern technologies and the opportunity to build solutions that make a real impact.
