We are hiring on behalf of a leading technology consultancy operating in an international environment focused on digital transformation, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, outsourcing, and systems development.

About The Role

Seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to oversee security operations, monitor and manage SOC alerts, coordinate incident response activities, assess vulnerabilities, and strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture. The role requires expertise in Microsoft environments, security operations, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding a cybersecurity team of approximately 6 professionals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and manage SOC alerts and security reports.
  • Define and implement action plans for identified security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Escalate critical security situations to senior IT leadership when required.
  • Manage and oversee security-related actions involving Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and server infrastructure.
  • Coordinate remediation activities internally and with third-party service providers.
  • Track and ensure completion of cybersecurity action plans and corrective measures.
  • Prepare operational, risk, and executive-level cybersecurity reports.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Develop and improve processes related to security monitoring and incident management.
  • Support cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
  • Act as a key contributor and leader within a cybersecurity team of 6 members.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity operations and incident management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience preparing and tracking operational or security reports.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory administration, authentication services, and Group Policy (GPO) management.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments, including tenant administration and security controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune administration and endpoint security.
  • Experience managing physical and virtual server environments.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management, security monitoring, and remediation processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead initiatives, coordinate teams, and drive continuous improvement.
