Cybersecurity Analyst

A leading IT service and consulting companies in the Philippines is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to be part of their esteemed organization in Quezon City.

Job Responsibilities

• Policy & Standards Management: Establish, monitor, and maintain the organization’s information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Security Control Operations: Implement, operate, and maintain technical security controls, including firewalls, anti-malware, and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Incident Response & Investigation: Monitor, analyze, and investigate security incidents and breaches, coordinating all response and containment activities.
• Vulnerability & Posture Assessment: Evaluate the organization's security posture through regular vulnerability assessments and annual external security audits.
• Breach Documentation & Remediation: Document security breaches, assess the impact/damage, and recommend effective countermeasures.
• Security Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze security data and system logs to produce comprehensive compliance and threat reports.
• Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Partner with the Legal Division to ensure all systems and policies meet regulatory and legal compliance standards.
• Security Awareness & Training: Deliver information security education and awareness training to internal employees and third-party vendors.
• Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal technical teams, business units, and external consultants or auditors.
• Continuous Professional Development: Actively attend conferences, seminars, and professional association meetings to stay ahead of the latest security threats, standards, and technological trends.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience as s a Cybersecurity Analyst/Specialist.
• Knowledge in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Web Applications Firewall (WAF), and Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC)
• Knowledge of information security management systems and information security governance (information risk management, business continuity and recovery strategies, incident handling concepts), security administration, network systems, operating systems,
• College graduate of Electronics & Communications Engineering or Information Technology or any related course
