Cyber Security Specialist

At Qaracter, we are looking for a Cyber Security Officer with around 3 years of experience to join strategic cybersecurity initiatives within a leading international organization. This role combines cybersecurity governance, technology risk management, and the implementation of AI-powered automation to improve security processes and operational efficiency.

As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will help strengthen cybersecurity controls, support compliance with global security standards, and drive automation initiatives using modern AI tools.

🔍 What You'll Do

• Coordinate cybersecurity and technology risk management activities across assigned products and business areas.
• Support the implementation of the organization's cybersecurity strategy and global security controls.
• Assess and manage cybersecurity and technology risks across projects, third parties, systems, and information assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Automate manual cybersecurity controls and operational processes using AI technologies.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve security governance and operational efficiency.
• Produce security reports, monitor compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

✔️ What We're Looking For

• Around 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Officer or in cybersecurity/IT-related roles.
• Experience performing security assessments, technology risk analysis, or security control reviews.
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Intermediate to advanced experience using AI development tools to automate workflows and security operations.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and integration/orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of AI agents, automated workflows, and AI applications for business processes.
• Experience driving process automation and operational improvements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with Devin AI.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and security governance practices.
• Experience working in large enterprise or international environments.
