As a tech-driven trading firm, this role will sit within an advanced security team and offers a fantastic opportunity to help strengthen and develop their defensive security capabilities. The role will be based in their Chicago office and will form part of a global team. What You’ll Be Doing Design, develop, and execute the Digital Security Strategy, with a specific emphasis on automation.Develop and utilise monitoring tools to protect systems, as well as perform security incident response and remediation when issues arise.Own and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the firm's security capabilities.What You’ll Need Strong scripting and automation experience, particularly in Python.Ideally, some experience in security automation, threat detection, or security engineering. This could also be a great opportunity for someone with strong Python automation experience looking to transition into a more security-focused engineering role.A genuine interest in and passion for cybersecurity events, research, and emerging threats.A strong engineering mindset, with the ability to understand and solve both complex technical and business problems.
