Cyber Security Compliance Analyst (GRC) | Contract | Part-time (20 hrs/week) | Remote (AEST)


For one of our USA based client, we’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Compliance / GRC Analyst (contractor) to join a busy security delivery squad supporting clients across Australia and APAC. This is an urgent requirement for someone who can hit the ground running and provide immediate capacity uplift.


This role is not a technical implementation / engineering position. The focus is on compliance documentation, audit readiness, and policy/procedure development in a client-facing environment.


What you’ll do:


  • Create and tailor security policies and procedures to support client compliance requirements
  • Support audit readiness activities and help build/maintain control evidence
  • Contribute to risk documentation (e.g., risk registers) and compliance deliverables
  • Work across multiple clients simultaneously as part of a squad (supported by a vCISO and Program Manager)
  • Join client calls (client-facing component may be up to ~50%, likely less), and be comfortable leading calls if needed


Frameworks you’ll work with:


  • SOC 2
  • ISO 27001
  • HIPAA
  • Essential Eight (Australia)


MUST HAVE Skills:


  • Proven, hands-on audit readiness / audit support experience with a holistic understanding of the audit process (not limited to just one area like vendor or third-party risk)
  • Strong experience producing high-quality written deliverables:
  • Policies / procedures
  • Risk registers
  • Control evidence / compliance documentation
  • Confident communication with clients (clear, professional, client-ready)


Nice-to-have:


  • General technical awareness (e.g., cloud security, access control, system configuration)
  • Experience with Vanta or a similar compliance/GRC platform (Vanta is not mandatory)


Contract details:


  • Duration: 3–4 months (extension possible)
  • Hours: ~20 hours/week (part-time)
  • Timezone: AEST working hours
  • Location: Philippines - Remote Role supporting AU/APAC clients incl. Singapore/Indonesia
  • Min Experience: 2 years in a similar role
  • Salary Range: 700 - 1000 PHP / hour
  • Setup: Must have reliable internet and a quiet, professional environment suitable for client calls
