Company Description NextRound is an early-access platform where job candidates share real interview experiences so future applicants can walk in better prepared. The product centers on structured “Round Reports” with ratings, crowdsourced “Round Questions” ranked by frequency, and “My Rounds,” an integrated tracker for managing interview pipelines from application through offer. The focus is solely on interviews—no culture reviews, CEO ratings, or ads—providing a clean, purpose-built space for practical preparation. NextRound is actively seeking founding contributors who have interviewed within the last two years to help grow the community and improve the quality of insights available to candidates.

Role Description This is a temporary, remote Beta Tester role focused on helping refine NextRound’s early-access platform. In this role, you will use the product as an everyday job candidate would: submitting round reports, exploring round questions, and tracking interview pipelines to identify usability issues, bugs, and opportunities for improvement. You will document feedback clearly, participate in occasional feedback sessions or surveys, and collaborate asynchronously with the product team to validate new features and updates. Day-to-day tasks include testing new workflows, verifying that filters and search functions behave as expected, and providing practical suggestions drawn from your own recent interview experiences.

Qualifications

• Recent interview experience (within the last two years) across one or more companies, with willingness to share detailed, anonymized insights.
• Comfort using web-based platforms, application trackers, and search or filter tools, with an eye for usability and user experience.
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly describe bugs, inconsistencies, or confusing workflows in writing.
• Strong written communication skills, including concise, objective feedback and the ability to follow structured reporting formats.
• Reliability in completing testing tasks on schedule and working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Interest in helping job candidates prepare more effectively and contributing to an early-stage product as a founding contributor.
• Prior beta testing, QA, or product feedback experience is helpful but not required; familiarity with job search platforms is a plus.
