Set up machines, tools, and materials according to production specifications and technical drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and adherence to dimensional tolerances. Perform routine inspections and measurements using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Conduct basic machine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions or repair requirements. Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to optimize production efficiency and minimize defects. Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation. Follow workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies at all times. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to achieve production targets and continuous improvement objectives. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and other computer-controlled equipment to manufacture precision parts. Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and raw materials according to production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure smooth operation. Replace and maintain cutting tools and machine accessories as required. Record production data, machine settings, and quality inspection results. Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors. Follow quality control procedures and ensure products meet dimensional and customer specifications. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
