CNC Gas Cutting Machine Operator

Company Name: Devki Technocrats India Private Limited Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Gas Cutting Machine Operator with strong knowledge of CNC programming, software operation, and manual gas cutting processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in heavy plate cutting up to 200 mm thickness and the ability to independently handle machine operations as per production and drawing requirements. The ideal candidate should also possess knowledge of CNC precision machining operations, tooling, offsets, blueprint reading, and basic troubleshooting. Machine Details: CNC Gas Cutting MachineTsugami B0205-iii (Sliding Head / Swiss-Type CNC)Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor CNC Gas Cutting Machine for production activitiesPerform manual gas cutting as per production instructions and drawingsHandle heavy plate cutting operations up to 200 mm thicknessPrepare and set cutting parameters according to material and thicknessOperate CNC software and understand nesting/programming operationsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting layoutsSet and adjust tool offsets accuratelyEnsure dimensional accuracy and cutting quality of componentsPerform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustmentsMonitor gas pressure, nozzle condition, and consumablesMaintain machine cleanliness and follow all safety proceduresCoordinate with production and quality departmentsReport daily production status to the Production ManagerEnsure minimum material wastage and optimum machine utilizationRequired Skills & Knowledge: Strong knowledge of CNC Gas Cutting Machine operationExperience in oxygen and LPG/acetylene gas cutting processesKnowledge of CNC cutting software and machine controlsUnderstanding of plate cutting, bevel cutting, and profile cuttingAbility to read engineering drawings and fabrication layoutsKnowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspectionBasic maintenance and troubleshooting knowledgeUnderstanding of industrial safety practicesExperience Required: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC Gas Cutting operationsMandatory experience in cutting MS plates up to 200 mm thicknessExperience in heavy engineering, fabrication, or structural industries preferredQualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferredPreferred Industry Background: Heavy EngineeringStructural FabricationPressure Vessel ManufacturingSteel & Infrastructure ProjectsDefence / Energy SectorSalary: Best in Industry (Based on Experience & Skill)Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
