Profile Summary
The Cloud Operations Engineer will have several areas of focus:
Provide support incident response and readiness as part of a 24x7 Operations Center within and in support of the Cloud IT Infrastructure and Operations team.
Support incident & change management processes for cloud services.
Setting up and configuring monitoring of HIDs cloud services and its required infrastructure, and for performing monitoring and break/ fix support on a 24x7 basis

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following.
Should be ready to work in 24x7 shifts
Monitoring tool (Any) setup for the cloud environment and manage
Cloud Backup tool (Any) install / configure / manage experience
Experience in Cloud Security monitoring and management
Experience in configuring and managing patching in Cloud environment.
Configuration of monitoring for applications and services
Monitor applications and cloud based services within a public cloud environment
Provide support for automation tools
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve service events or issues and implement workaroun
2 - 5 years' of experience working as a support engineer or within IT-Operations:
Managing services and environments in AWS public cloud
Managing Continuous Integration services
Managing and supporting Linux and Windows operating system and services
Education And/Or Qualification:
2-5 years of proven experience supporting complex technical solutions
including planning, development, implementation and support
Expert in, or strong desire to learn, server and network security tools and
practices.
Strong skills in systems administration of AWS, Windows and/or Linux OS.
At least two years of operations support experience.
Strong working knowledge of general OS, application, database, storage
and networking concepts, systems administration practices, etc.
Strong scripting skills in at least one major scripting language (e.g., bash,
PowerShell, python)
Experience Infrastructure Monitoring
Experience participating in active incident response efforts.
