Job description
Why join Safeguard Global? 👀
We want to help you “work in any way” — that means making time for family, commitments, and life outside of work so that you can have the best of both worlds. When you own what you do and are driven to deliver, you have the flexibility to decide where and how you work. 🚀
Our roles aren’t just remote and hybrid first—they break free from the traditional ways of doing things, paving a way for a job that works for you. ✅
The role in a nutshell:
The Client Success Advisor plays a critical role in building and sustaining strong, long‑term relationships across a portfolio of small to mid‑sized clients who currently leverage a limited set of Safeguard Global services but demonstrate meaningful near‑term growth potential. As the client’s primary point of contact, the Advisor develops a deep understanding of each client’s business, translating their goals into actionable plans that drive satisfaction, retention, product adoption, and expansion. Managing a portfolio of 20–50 clients utilizing 1–2 services, the Client Success Advisor partners cross‑functionally to ensure successful service delivery, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities that support both client success and Safeguard Global’s revenue growth.
How you will make a difference:
- Establish client relationships with operating and senior level contacts (CHRO/CFO, VPs, Directors, Global Mobility, etc.) for each account within assigned client portfolio.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, priorities, and long‑term goals, and translate that insight into success plans that drive meaningful outcomes. This includes defining desired results, identifying risks, establishing governance, and guiding adoption—ultimately turning client needs into actionable initiatives that strengthen partnership value and support revenue growth.
- Provide timely and accurate response to client queries using all appropriate communication methods and ensuring documentation in customer service tool while maintaining CRM activities in Salesforce to provide visibility of client KPIs.
- Develop and demonstrate a holistic understanding of Safeguard Global’s service suite to educate clients on advanced product capabilities, roadmap items, and best practices to maximize adoption and value.
- Support clients in scoping exercises, ensuring a high probability of converting opportunities into revenue. Provide structured analysis for commercial teams, supporting renewal conversations, forecasting, and upsell/cross sell readiness.
- Identify retention risks by analyzing patterns across countries, service lines, and stakeholders; then execute client “save” motions (early warning flags, intervention plans, service recovery, executive sponsor engagement, and escalation governance) to protect renewals and restore confidence through cross‑functional corrective actions.
- Oversee end-to-end governance of portfolio delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service standards.
- Lead business reviews, and multi stakeholder planning sessions.
What will give you an advantage:
- Strong relationship‑building and client partnership skills; able to establish trust with operating‑level client stakeholders.
- Solid communication skills (written, verbal, and virtual) with ability to simplify complex information for clients.
- Effective prioritization and time‑management across a dynamic client portfolio.
- Foundational account governance skills, including documenting client goals, risks, and success drivers.
- Ability to interpret operational data and apply insights to improve client outcomes.
- Problem‑solving capability and comfort working cross‑functionally to resolve issues.
- Growth‑oriented mindset; able to identify opportunities that support product adoption and client value.
- High attention to detail, CRM discipline, and consistency in documentation.
- Experience in a service delivery and/or account management role with focus on client relationship and growth (customer support, operations, HR/payroll admin, or related fields preferred).
- Familiar with upselling techniques for products or services
- Demonstrated use of data in building account plans.
- History of customer growth/satisfaction, and operational KPIs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Global client exposure, experience working in multinational environments a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with human resource, payroll or accounting solutions experience strongly preferred.

Prepare your application
Use the description above to assess your fit for Safeguard Global. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.
Match requirements to evidence
Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.
Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.
Check the working arrangement
Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.
Review before submitting
Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.
Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.
Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
