Business Process Manager 3PL Transportation Operations

Role & responsibilities Job Summary We are looking for a Business Process Manager with hands-on exposure to 3PL transportation operations. The role is responsible for studying existing processes across multi-client logistics operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing standardized, scalable, and cost-effective processes while ensuring adherence to SLAs and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze and document existing 3PL transportation processes across multiple clients Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and service risks impacting SLAs Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, turnaround time, and cost control Standardize workflows while allowing flexibility for client-specific requirements Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, IT, and commercial teams Support implementation and optimization of WMS / TMS / ERP systems Track and analyse operational KPIs (OTIF, productivity, inventory accuracy, cost per order, etc.) Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in a 3PL environment Strong understanding of contract logistics operations Hands-on knowledge of warehouse processes (inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch) Good understanding of transportation management (planning, execution, carrier coordination) Experience in process mapping, SOP development, and process optimization Familiarity with WMS / TMS platforms Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement tools Experience managing multi-client or multi-site operations Working knowledge of cost modelling and productivity analysis Key Competencies Process excellence mindset Stakeholder and client coordination Change management Data-driven decision Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in a 3PL environmentStrong understanding of contract logistics operationsHands-on knowledge of warehouse processes (inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch) Good understanding of transportation management (planning, execution, carrier coordination)Experience in process mapping, SOP development, and process optimization
