Backend Developer-Python(Total Openings 15) Location: Remote in US Experience level: 8+ Years Role summary Design, build and operate the backend services and data-processing engines that power Client's value-based care platform - including the risk/financial calculation engines that turn claims and clinical data into actionable insights for independent practices. Key responsibilities • Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs and batch/stream data pipelines in a healthcare data environment. • Develop and optimize calculation/risk engines that process large volumes of claims and clinical data. • Write well-tested, production-grade code and participate in code reviews, CI/CD and on-call rotation. • Partner with product and data teams to translate requirements into reliable, performant services. Skills • Python • SQL • AWS • Strong production experience building services and data pipelines; relational database design and query optimization; deploying and operating workloads on AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3). • Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Airflow, dbt or similar). • Healthcare / claims / EHR data exposure. • Microservices, event-driven architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
