Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Back-End Developer to build and maintain the core services of our airline operations platform. You will develop scalable backend applications, APIs, and integrations that support booking, airport operations, passenger services, and disruption management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs and integration services.
  • Design secure, scalable, and reliable backend systems.
  • Integrate with airline platforms such as PSS, DCS, NDC, and other external services.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL databases.
  • Implement asynchronous processing, event-driven workflows, queues, retries, and reconciliation.
  • Handle failures, duplicate requests, timeouts, and recovery scenarios.
  • Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and solution architects.
  • Write unit, integration, and API tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of backend software development experience.
  • Strong experience building enterprise APIs and backend applications.
  • Good understanding of scalable system design, testing, and integration.
  • Experience working with complex system integrations.
