Job Description

Requirements For The Assistants

  • home based (e.g. free-lancer, homemaker)
  • university graduate (preferred)
  • bilingual (Japanese / English)
  • having a broadband Internet connection
  • own MS Office (v. 2000 and above, English or Japanese)
  • own Adobe Acrobat software (v6 and above)
  • at least 1-2 hours available free time a day

Need help in various tasks:

  • Text formatting - requires experience in using MS Word
  • Tables preparation - requires experience in using MS Excel
  • PDF processing by using Adobe Acrobat
  • Data entry - such as re-typing, copy/paste from paper or electronic sources
  • OCR - cleaning OCR-ed texts

Knowledge and experience in medical, biological, biochemical, chemical, life sciences or pharmaceutical field would be a benefit, although not mandatory.
