Applications Engineer - CNC Programming

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong machine shop background? Do you enjoy problem-solving and working directly with customers to optimise their machining processes? Our client, a CNC machinery manufacturer, is recruiting for an Applications Engineer. In this field-based role, you'll set up, program, and train customers on precision CNC turning and milling machines, ensuring they maximize efficiency and performance. Applications Engineer Permanent Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 UK wide travel Applications Engineer Manually programming and setting up CNC turning machines with milling capabilities at customer sites after purchase. Providing hands-on training to customers on programming, machine operation, and best practices. Travelling to customer locations to install, test, and optimise precision automated turning/lathe machines. Diagnosing and resolving programming, tooling, and operational issues to ensure machine efficiency and accuracy. Working closely with engineering teams to improve processes, document machine setup procedures, and support ongoing technical development.
