AI & Data Analyst

Qualitas Funds is looking to hire an AI & Data Analyst to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and data across the firm, with a primary focus on the investment team.

Qualitas is a private equity manager specialised in the European lower mid-market, with investment strategies across primary funds, co-investments and secondaries. Over the past few years, we have developed a proprietary market intelligence platform, Qualitas Insight, as well as an extensive roadmap of AI initiatives aimed at improving the way we analyse funds, companies, markets and investment opportunities

We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset, strong execution capabilities and genuine curiosity for technology, who wants to combine artificial intelligence, data and investing in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment with high exposure to the senior team.

Artificial intelligence and data are a strategic priority for the firm, and this position will play a central role in turning that potential into concrete tools that improve how we analyse opportunities, make decisions and scale our processes. The Role:

The position will be integrated into the investment team and will work closely with different departments across the firm, as well as with internal developers and technology partn

ers.The main objective will be to convert already identified business needs into operational tools with real impact on Qualitas’ day-to-day activities. In the short term, the person will be responsible for coordinating and executing AI and data initiatives; over time, we expect the role to evolve into a central position in the continuous improvement of Qualitas’ investment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Driving and coordinating artificial intelligence projects applied to the investment team and other areas of the firm.
• Translating business needs into concrete solutions, working alongside the investment team, internal developers and technology partners.
• Designing, developing and implementing agentic workflows, automations and tools based on generative AI.
• Ensuring the effective adoption of existing AI agents and tools, monitoring usage, improvements and new needs.
• Contributing to the evolution of Qualitas Insight, our proprietary market intelligence platform.
• Performing data analysis on funds, companies, sectors, markets and investment opportuneities.
• Participating in the preparation of investment recommendations, both for direct investment opportunities and primary fund investments.
• Improving internal investment team processes by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency and scalability.
• Coordinating technology providers, developers and internal stakeholders to ensure execution, quality and timely delivery

Knowledge and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, data & analytics, artificial intelligence, product, operations or technology project management.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into concrete tools.
• Familiarity with generative AI and automation tools.
• Ability to develop or coordinate agentic workflows independently.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Python will be highlyvalued.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, private equity or company analysis will be a plus, but is not required
• Excellent analytical skills.
