Job description

About Valatam

We’re Valatam, a team that connects bilingual professionals from Latin America with global clients. Our people are our pride, and we’re thrilled to be certified as a Great Place to Work for the 2025-2026 period, proof that great work starts with great people.

About the Role

We're looking for a 100% remote Administrative Associate to join our team. If you have experience supporting executive teams or clients across Latin America and you're ready to move beyond basic support into independently managing workflows, this role is for you. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and serve as a reliable point of contact day-to-day.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize process documentation and maintain accurate, high-quality institutional records.
  • Structure and organize file systems in Google Drive so the whole team can access what they need, friction-free.
  • Lead data entry initiatives, safeguard data integrity, and generate internal reports that drive decision-making.
  • Proactively manage executive correspondence, including high-level email management and communication with clients and vendors.
  • Conduct independent research and handle sensitive or complex documentation.
  • Take on additional specialized administrative tasks to support team goals.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in administration or virtual assistance.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

Benefits

Our Core Values at Work

We live by ACTION (get things done), CARE (help others and do things right), OUTSTANDING (operate at the highest standards), DEPENDABLE (own every commitment), and ENERGY (bring positivity every day). You’ll thrive here if these values resonate with you.

What We Offer

  • Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696 – $1,044/month (experience-based).
  • Annual pay increments.
  • Discretionary client bonuses (80 % of clients award year-end bonuses).
  • 7 U.S. federal holidays + 4 paid PTO days.
  • Monthly medical insurance stipend (after meeting eligibility criteria).
  • Birthday / Anniversary bonuses + Gym / Wellness allowance.
  • Unlimited online fitness classes + company events & Christmas celebrations.

IMPORTANT

We would like to inform you that during the first four months of employment, it is critical that candidates are available to work from the countries listed above and without any travel commitments. This is to ensure a smooth onboarding process and to allow new hires to fully focus on their roles and responsibilities.

If you have a trip already planned within the next four months, we kindly request that you apply for our positions after returning from your trip. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to considering your application once you are available to commit to the role.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for Valatam. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
