Position Details Position Title - Adjunct Instructor, Biology, Biostatistics, Genomics Department - 215110 - Biology and Integrated Science, Bus & Tech Position Summary - La Salle University's Natural Sciences Department has need for a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach biostatistics and phage genomics courses for Biology majors. Essential Duties - Teach assigned course(s). Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives. Provide timely grading and feedback to students. Provide guidance and support to students. Required Qualifications - Master's or PhD degree in a biology or related field. For teaching biostatistics, proficiency in the R and R Studio software environments. For teaching phage genomics, general comfort with using common genomics software tools. Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University. Preferred Qualifications - Experience teaching biology courses at the college-level. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours - The job requires the ability to teach lecture sections in a computer lab. The job requires movement around the classroom.
