Job description

About Codes Health

At Codes Health, we are building the modern platform for medical record retrieval. Legacy record retrieval is notoriously slow and unreliable; our system uses AI to deliver decision-ready records much faster and more accurately.

Started just over two years ago, our volume is doubling MoM, with a clear path to category leadership. We support everything from Personal Injury Law to Specialty Healthcare. We are a well-funded, rapidly growing team focused on growing 100x from where we are today.

Our mission is to automate record retrieval, which will only be achieved through innovative engineering and relentless execution.

About the Role

You’ll be the person who makes sure the work we do translates to cash. Working closely with our Accounts Recievables team and reporting directly to our Head of Revenue Operations, you’ll own the full invoice-to-cash cycle: assembling invoices, delivering them, managing customer-billing relationships, and finding ways to optimize the workflow.
It’s a core seat in Revenue Operations. You’ll interact with customers every day, work closely with Sales and Operations, and help build the systems we’ll use to scale. This isn’t data entry. You’ll have meaningful ownership, direct access to leadership, and a clear view of how the business makes money.

What you’ll do

Invoice-to-cash, end to end

  • Pull billable activity from our internal systems and turn it into accurate, client-ready invoices

  • Own the monthly billing cycle so every invoice goes out correctly and on time

  • Keep our Master Invoice Tracker as the single source of truth for what’s been billed, sent, paid and outstanding

Customer relationships

  • Be the go-to billing contact for our law firm customers, answering questions, resolving disputes and setting up billing for new accounts

  • Run collections professionally and persistently, firmly enough to get paid and friendly enough to keep the relationship strong

  • Work with Account Executives to catch billing issues early and keep customers happy

Insight and reporting

  • Track AR aging, DSO and collection trends, and flag risks before they become problems

  • Reconcile payments against invoices and keep records audit-ready

  • Support month-end close, cash forecasting and ad hoc analysis

Building the machine

  • Find manual, repetitive tasks --> automate or streamline them

  • Help evaluate and set up tools (billing platforms, payment portals, CRM integrations) as we scale

  • Diligent documentation of processes so the function can grow past one person

Whatever finance needs

  • Pitch in on payables, commission calculations, vendor management, and other projects as they surface

What you bring

  • 1–3 years in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role (startup or B2B services experience is a plus)

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills: lookups, pivots and working with large datasets shouldn’t scare you

  • Close attention to detail, because you know one wrong number on an invoice costs us trust

  • The ability to think outside of the box; effectively scaling these processes requires innate curiosity that extends beyond the tools already in place

  • Clear, confident written communication with external customers

  • An instinct for ownership: you see a messy process and want to fix it

  • Comfort in a fast-moving, remote environment where priorities shift

Compensation Details

  • Competitive salary

  • Healthcare, vision and dental insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for Codes Health. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
